- Andean condor biome:
They are found in the mountain ranges of the Andes, from Venezuela in the north to Chile and Argentina in the south, including Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, and Bolivia.
- California condor biome:
The range of this species historically spanned a large area of western North America, including Mexico, the Southwestern US, and California. However, due to hunting, habitat loss, and other factors, their population declined drastically, and they were nearly driven to extinction. Conservation efforts have managed to bring the population back from the brink, and they can now be mainly found in the mountainous regions of California, Arizona, and Utah.
