How big is a black rhino?

Black rhinos are large herbivores that can vary in size depending on their subspecies. However, on average, they are considered to be one of the largest rhinoceros species:

Length: Black rhinos can reach lengths of up to 3.5 meters (11.5 feet) on average, while some individuals may exceed 4 meters (13 feet) in length.

Height: At the shoulder, black rhinos stand around 1.5 to 1.8 meters (4.9 to 6 feet) tall. Some larger individuals may reach heights of up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) at the shoulder.

Weight: Adult black rhinos can weigh anywhere from 800 to 1,500 kilograms (1,760 to 3,300 pounds). They are known to be robust and heavily built animals.

It's worth noting that these measurements can vary within the different subspecies of black rhinos (Eastern black rhino and Western black rhino), as well as between individual animals.
