Do Bengal tigers eat king cobras?
Bengal tigers (Panthera tigris tigris) are known to prey on a wide variety of animals, including snakes like the king cobra (Ophiophagus hannah). However, king cobras are not a common prey item for tigers. These snakes are highly venomous and can defend themselves effectively against predators. Tigers typically avoid confrontations with king cobras unless they are desperate for food. In most cases, tigers will choose to hunt other, less dangerous prey.
