Where can beluga whales be found?

Beluga whales are found in Arctic and sub-Arctic waters. They are most common in the waters of Canada, the United States, Greenland, Norway, and Russia. They are also found in the Barents Sea, Kara Sea, Laptev Sea, East Siberian Sea, Chukchi Sea, and Beaufort Sea. Beluga whales are highly social animals and live in pods of up to 100 individuals. They feed on fish, shrimp, and other crustaceans. Beluga whales are considered to be a keystone species in the Arctic ecosystem, as they play an important role in the food web.
