Is a king cheetah hybrid?

A king cheetah is not a hybrid. It is a naturally occurring genetic variant of the cheetah found in Africa. The king cheetah is characterized by its distinct coat pattern, which features bold, widely spaced stripes and spots, giving it a striking appearance. This unique pattern is caused by a rare mutation in the gene that regulates coat coloration. However, the king cheetah belongs to the same species as other cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus), and it is not the result of hybridization between different species.
