Can different kind of wolves get married?

Wolves don't get married in the human sense. They form pair bonds, but it's not a legal or social contract like human marriage.

However, different subspecies of wolves can and do interbreed. This is because they are all part of the same species, *Canis lupus*, and are therefore genetically compatible.

Here are some examples:

* Gray wolves and red wolves can interbreed.

* Gray wolves and eastern wolves can interbreed.

* Gray wolves and coyotes can interbreed, resulting in hybrids known as "coywolf."

So, while wolves don't "get married" in the human sense, different kinds of wolves *can* interbreed and produce fertile offspring.
