Do coyotes get bigger than dog?

That's a tricky question! It depends on what you mean by "bigger." Here's why:

* Weight: Coyotes typically weigh 20-50 pounds. While that's bigger than some dog breeds, many dogs easily surpass that weight. For example, a Great Dane can easily weigh over 100 pounds.

* Length: Coyotes are about 3-5 feet long from nose to tail. While some dog breeds are shorter, many are longer. For instance, a German Shepherd can be over 6 feet long.

* Height: Coyotes stand around 2 feet tall at the shoulder. This is similar to the height of medium-sized dogs like Golden Retrievers, but smaller than larger breeds like Doberman Pinschers.

So, it's not a simple yes or no answer. Some dogs are definitely larger than coyotes, but some dogs are smaller. It all comes down to the specific dog breed and the individual coyote.
