The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 lists four breeds of dog that are prohibited:
* Pit Bull Terrier
* Japanese Tosa
* Dogo Argentino
* Fila Brasileiro
However, any dog that is deemed to be "dangerously out of control" can also be subject to the Act. This means that even if a wolf hybrid isn't listed specifically, it could still be illegal to own if it exhibits aggressive behaviour or poses a risk to public safety.
In addition, the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 prohibits the ownership of wild animals unless a license is granted. Although wolf hybrids are technically domesticated, they can still be considered wild animals in the eyes of the law.
It's important to remember that these laws are in place to protect both people and animals. Owning a wolf hybrid can be a lot of responsibility, and it's crucial to understand the legal implications before considering it.
