What does a wolf live in as home?

Wolves don't build homes in the same way humans do. They don't construct houses or dens. Instead, they use natural shelters like:

* Dens: These are usually caves, abandoned burrows, or thickets that provide protection from the elements and predators. They are used for raising pups and resting.

* Hollow logs: These can offer temporary shelter, especially for smaller wolves or pups.

* Thick underbrush: Wolves may use dense vegetation as cover and to protect themselves from the weather.

* Rock formations: Crevices and overhangs can offer shelter, especially in mountainous areas.

It's important to note that wolves don't have a permanent "home" in the same way we do. They often move around their territory, using different shelters as needed.
