Do gray wolves eat their young?
Gray wolves are social animals that live in packs, and they typically do not eat their young. However, there are some cases in which this may happen. For example, if a pup is sick or injured, the parents may kill it in order to prevent it from suffering. Additionally, if there is a shortage of food, the parents may kill one or more of their pups in order to ensure that the rest of the pack has enough to eat.
