How loud can beagles bark?
Beagles have a distinctive barking style known as "baying." When hunting, they use this sound to communicate with other beagles in the pack. Beagle barks can reach up to 130 decibels, which is about the same loudness as a jackhammer or a jet engine taking off. Despite their small size, beagles are capable of producing surprisingly loud barks, making them effective and efficient hunting dogs.
