A golden eagle has a larger wingspan and weighs more than a coyote. The eagle's talons and beak are longer and sharper than the coyote's teeth and claws. While coyotes can run faster than golden eagles, eagles can fly faster than coyotes. Eagles also have the advantage of being able to see from great distances and can spot prey from the air. In a fight, a golden eagle would likely be the stronger of the two animals.
