What is the age limit of a bovine Heifer?

There isn't a strict age limit for a heifer. However, the term "heifer" typically refers to a female bovine that:

* Has not yet given birth. This is the defining characteristic of a heifer.

* Is usually under 2 years old. After this point, they are generally referred to as cows.

So, while a heifer technically can be older than 2 years, it's less common to use the term for animals that have already calved.
