How to Raise Incubator Humidity

It's fairly easy to regulate the humidity in your bird incubator once you know the conditions required to hatch your eggs. By altering the temperature and water level, you can raise the humidity to create a favorable environment for your eggs.

Instructions

    • 1

Move your water trays farther from the light source. The high temperature of the bulbs could be causing your water trays to dry out too quickly.

    • 2

Add more water to your water trays or add another tray. Add about one teaspoon of water at a time until the humidity reaches the desired level.

    • 3

Raise the humidity of the room that houses the incubator. Drier air in the room could be affecting the humidity in the incubator. You can also place a humidifier near the incubator to help stabilize the humidity levels.
