Do you need a boy turkey to make egg baby and how?

Turkeys are sexually reproducing animals, so both male and female turkeys (a male turkey is called a tom and a female turkey is called a hen) are required to produce offspring. Male turkeys (the toms) do not lay eggs, so they are not directly involved in the process of making the eggs. In fact, hens can lay unfertilized eggs without ever mating with a tom. When a tom mates with a hen, the hen will lay fertilized eggs that can develop into poults (baby turkeys).
