Who will be allowed to sloughter the animal if there was no male arround?

According to Islamic law, if there is no male available to slaughter the animal, then a woman can do it. However, she must follow certain guidelines. First, she must be of sound mind and body. Second, she must be knowledgeable of the proper way to slaughter the animal. Third, she must do it in a humane way. Finally, she must say the appropriate prayer before and after slaughtering the animal.
