How long can a bull shark grow?

The bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) is a large, powerful shark found in warm, shallow waters near coasts, estuaries, rivers, and even some lakes. Bull sharks are known for their aggressive nature and are considered one of the most dangerous sharks in the world.

The average length of a bull shark is between 7.5 and 11 feet (2.3 and 3.4 meters), but some individuals can grow much larger. The largest bull shark on record was caught off the coast of Brazil and measured 13.5 feet (4.1 meters) long.

In addition to their length, bull sharks are also quite heavy. The average weight of a bull shark is between 200 and 500 pounds (91 and 227 kilograms). Some individuals, however, can weigh over 1,000 pounds (454 kilograms).
