How big can the pygmy possum grow?

Pygmy possums (Cercartetus nanus) are among the smallest marsupials in the world. They typically weigh between 7 and 15 grams and have a body length of 5 to 10 centimetres (2 to 4 inches). Their tail can add another 5 to 8 centimetres (2 to 3 inches) to their total length. Pygmy possums have a small, pointed snout and large, dark eyes. Their fur is typically a pale grey or brown colour, with a white belly.
