Instructions

  1. Installing Fence Panels

    • 1

You can buy premade fence panels at any farm supply store or larger home-improvement chains like Home Depot or Lowe's. Call before you make the trip to make sure they have some on site. Otherwise, you may have to order them. Fence panels come in sizes from 6 feet to 12 feet. Come prepared and know the measurements that suit your needs.

    • 2

Stake the corners of the area where you will be installing your fence panels. This will help you install them in straight lines and utilize every inch of space. Stakes are not necessary if you are erecting a round corral.

    • 3

Lay your fence panels on the ground in the shape and order you want them installed. Make sure to line up the pin side with the latch side on the neighboring panel.

    • 4

Begin opposite your entryway. Lift two panels and pin together. Premade panels are made to hold themselves up once attached to another. Once you have two up, it's just a matter of connecting all the fence panels in the shape you have laid out.

    • 5

Go back and wire all your fence panels securely together. If you will be moving the panels around regularly, this step is not necessary. But for a more permanent fencing, wiring the panels together makes them that much more secure.
