There are more female than male veterinarians in the United States.

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), in 2022:

* 63.2% of veterinarians were female

* 36.8% of veterinarians were male

This trend has been growing over the past few decades, with the number of female veterinarians increasing steadily.
