How to Ear-Tag Cattle

It is a common sight in rural areas to see cattle in fields and feed lots with ear tags. Ear tags are used for identification purposes. There are also insecticide-impregnated tags used to control flies and other parasites. The best time to place ear tags is soon after birth or when general veterinary care is administered.
