How to Make Agricultural Teat Wipes

Cows and goats are steady milk providers, and taking care to keep them healthy -- and their dairy output clean -- is an important responsibility. The teat area easily becomes contaminated with dirt, straw, feces and urine, and must be disinfected before the animal is milked. Also, the act of milking can irritate the area and soothing it first with a gentle wipe makes the process go smoother for all parties involved. Commercial teat wipes are available, but some dairy animal managers prefer making their own.
