Instructions
Clip the hair from the ringworm-infected areas to give the lesions more exposure to sunlight, which helps clear up the infection.
Remove severe ringworm scabs with mild soap and water. Keep the affected skin clean to aid in healing.
Apply an all-natural topical remedy such as apple cider vinegar or tea tree oil, both of which are reputed to help clear up ringworm. Use a cotton ball to dab the liquids onto the lesions.
Apply equal parts of a tincture of iodine and glycerin to the skin. Or dab a 20 percent solution of sodium caprylate, another effective treatment for ringworm.
Expose the affected area to sunlight, which seems to be a natural cure for bovine ringworm. Exposure to sunlight often helps clear up the infection in cows.
