Instructions
Treat pigs by adding a premixed solution, as prescribed by the veterinarian, of levamisole to 1 gallon of water for every 100 pounds of pig weight that will be treated. For example, if you are treating three pigs that weigh a combined 1,500 pounds you will need to make 15 gallons of water. Do not offer any other water until the medicated water is gone.
Medicate cattle with levamisole phosphate. Levamisole phosphate is given as an injection under the skin. Cattle with high loads of lungworm might need an additional injection two and four weeks following the first shot.
Treat sheep with levamisole using one of several options. Levamisole for sheep is available to use in water or feed, or as an injection.
Give opossums weighing over 200 grams levamisole as an injection. Boosters can be given two to three weeks after the initial shot.
