How do bison catch there prey?

Bison are herbivores, meaning they eat plants. They don't catch prey. They are the prey!

Here's what they eat:

* Grasses: Their diet consists mainly of grasses, making them grazers.

* Forbs: These are non-grassy plants, like wildflowers and legumes.

* Sedges: These are similar to grasses but have triangular stems.

Bison are powerful animals, but their strength and size are used to defend themselves, not to hunt.
