Instructions

  1. How to Get Rid of Worms in Chicken Feed

    • 1

Remove the infested bag of feed from all other feed bags and food sources.

    • 2

Place the bag of feed in a large freezer. You may need to split the food into Ziploc bags so that you can fit it all in.

    • 3

Leave the feed in the freezer for at least four days. This should kill any living worms and eggs in the bag so that you don't have to waste the infested feed.

    • 4

Place any remaining feed in large, airtight plastic bins so that worms will not be able to get in.

    • 5

Vacuum or sweep the area surrounding the feed bags to make sure no worms are loose on the ground.

    • 6

Watch for worms in the remaining bags and repeat steps 2 and 3 until you no longer find worms in your chicken feed.
