- Harpy Eagles: These large and powerful eagles are renowned for their expertise in hunting large birds, including toucans. They often snatch toucans straight out of the air.
- Snakes: A number of snake species, such as boas and anacondas, prey upon toucans. These snakes use constriction to subdue and consume the birds.
- Ocelots and Jaguars: These carnivorous cats sometimes include toucans in their diets. They exhibit tremendous skill in climbing and hunting within trees.
- Large Birds: Other large avian predators, like hawks and falcons, may occasionally target toucans.
- Feral Cats and Dogs: In areas of the rainforest where humans are present, feral or domesticated cats and dogs can also pose threats to toucans.
