What country is the sheep native to?

The domestic sheep (Ovis aries) is descended from the wild mouflon which is native to western Asia and Europe.

While the exact origins are debated, it's generally accepted that domestic sheep were first domesticated in the Fertile Crescent region, which includes parts of modern-day Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan.
