Where do mountain goats sleep?

Mountain goats are known for their incredible agility and ability to navigate steep, rocky terrain. They don't build nests or burrows like some other animals. Instead, they sleep in sheltered areas on the mountainside, often choosing:

* Caves: These provide natural protection from the elements and potential predators.

* Rock overhangs: Similar to caves, overhangs offer shelter and a sense of security.

* Dense thickets: These can provide cover and camouflage for the goats.

* Ledges: They can find flat areas on ledges where they can lie down and rest.

The specific location they choose depends on factors like weather, predator activity, and the availability of suitable spots.
