Instructions

Choose a young goat. The younger the goat is, the easier it will be to train. You need a lot of patience with older goats.

    • 2

Let the goat adjust to its new home. It will take time to win your goat over. Offer it plenty of love and attention.

    • 3

Remain still and let the goat approach you. Goats are very curious. When it comes near you, offer it a corn chip or raisin. Other good treats are apple, carrot and pumpkin slices. Be patient and don't push the goat too fast.

Gain the goat's confidence. Gently pet your goat. This helps forge a bond between you.
