Instructions

    • 1

Park the trailer at the gate with its doors opened so the goat can easily walk on in when it gets to that point.

    • 2

Use a board as a ramp so the goat can climb in easily and make the trailer’s interior a cozy haven of blankets and treats.

    • 3

Go up to the goat, talk lovingly, sooth him, and offer his favorite food. My goats would simply adore corn muffins.

    • 4

Walk backwards away from the goat and towards the trailer, keeping the food in his line of sight and offering him nibbles so he stays interested.

    • 5

Coax him with the food into the trailer, giving him the lion’s share once he is firmly inside.

    • 6

Shut the trailer door and skedaddle.
