Things You'll Need
- Replacement blades
- Phillips screwdriver
Instructions
Disconnect the Clipmaster's power cord.
Loosen the machine's blade tension knob by unscrewing the blade nut on the bottom of the head. Turn the nut in a clockwise direction to loosen it.
Turn the machine over and loosen the two screws that hold the blade with your screwdriver. Remove the comb and cutter blades from their housing.
Inspect your new blades to ensure that they are free from dust and fibers before placing them in the machine.
Lay your new cutter blade -- the smallest blade -- over the two tabs on the head of the Clipmaster. Make sure that the blade's curve is facing upward.
Slide your new comb blade on top of the cutter blade and fit the notches around the two screws in the head. Face the blade with any writing pointing up and tighten the screws by hand.
Turn the machine over and slide the cutter blade to within 1/32 and 1/16 of an inch from the comb blade.
Tighten the tension by turning the tension knob counterclockwise until you meet resistance and then turn another half turn.
