What does the bull shark eat?

Bull sharks are opportunistic feeders with a varied diet, but they are primarily carnivores. Their diet includes:

* Fish: A wide range of fish, including bony fish, sharks, rays, and even eels.

* Other marine animals: Sea turtles, dolphins, seabirds, and crustaceans (like crabs and lobsters).

* Land animals: They are known to enter freshwater rivers and estuaries to hunt, and will prey on land animals that come too close to the water, like deer, alligators, and even dogs.

* Carrion: They will also scavenge on dead animals.

Their powerful jaws and sharp teeth allow them to crush bones and tear flesh. They are also known to be aggressive and can attack humans, although these attacks are relatively rare.
