What does a fetal pig lung looks like?

Fetal pig lungs are pinkish-red and spongy in appearance. They are located in the thoracic cavity, on either side of the heart. The lungs are divided into lobes, with two lobes on the left lung and three lobes on the right lung. The lobes are further divided into lobules, which are the smallest structural units of the lungs. The lobules are made up of alveoli, which are tiny air sacs where gas exchange takes place. The alveoli are lined with capillaries, which are small blood vessels that allow oxygen from the air to pass into the bloodstream, and carbon dioxide from the bloodstream to pass into the air.
