How to Enter an Animal in the Pennsylvania Farm Show

The Pennsylvania Farm Show is an annual event where people show off the finest quality agricultural goods and animals, such as honey and horses, by putting them on display. The show spans the course of a week, giving visitors and participants a chance to experience as much of the show as possible. If you own farm animals and are interested in entering them into the Pennsylvania Farm Show, enter them ahead of time as walk-ins are not accepted.

      Obtain the necessary entry application forms from the Pennsylvania Farm Show website that are specific to the animal you wish to enter. Various forms exist for poultry, rabbits, sheep and livestock.

      Complete the appropriate application. Provide the name of the animals you are entering into the show. Include all of the information that the application asks for, such as the gender of the animal, color and breed. Each animal that is entered into the show is assigned a number so that it can be identified among the other animals in the same group.

      Include the stated entry fee. Applications will not be processed unless the entry fee is included in the application. The Pennsylvania Farm Show charges a per animal fee, which varies depending on the type of animal you are registering.

      Sign the application as the exhibitor. You are thereby giving the Pennsylvania Farm Show the right to display the animal you enter, and you are swearing that you are the owner of the animal by signing the application document.
