Things You'll Need
- Fence posts
- Post hole diggers
- Roll of barbed wire
- Metal clips or large staples (nails)
- Pliers or hammer
- Cement
- Water
Instructions
Dig holes for all of the fence posts with the post hole diggers. This can also be done with a tractor and auger for digging the holes much faster.
Set the corner posts using cement to make them stronger, as the wire will eventually pull on the corner posts.
Set all of the posts into the holes and fill the holes with dirt until the posts are standing straight.
Measure the distance wanted between each strand of wire. Mark the distance on each post so the wire will be evenly placed.
Nail the wire to wooden posts by using large staples and a hammer. If using metal posts, attach the wire with metal clips supplied with the posts and pliers.
