When and how must a tag or permit be handled after legally taking deer turkey antelope?

Immediately upon killing any deer, turkey, or antelope, the person killing the same shall detach and securely attach the proper tag in such a manner so that the tag will clearly show the sex of the animal. The person shall sign his or her name in ink on the reverse side of the tag, and such tag shall remain attached to the carcass until the meat is fully prepared for storage or consumption.
