Is the word savanna like meaning desert savanna?

The word "savannah" does not have the same meaning as "desert." A savannah is a grassland ecosystem characterized by the presence of trees scattered throughout the landscape. Savannas are typically found in tropical and subtropical regions and are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species. Deserts, on the other hand, are characterized by a lack of vegetation and extremely dry conditions. They are typically found in areas with very little rainfall and are home to a limited number of species that are adapted to the harsh conditions.
