How big can toucans get?
Toucans are a group of birds in the family Ramphastidae, characterized by their large, colorful beaks. They are found in tropical regions of the Americas. The largest toucan species is the toco toucan (Ramphastos toco), which is found in the Amazon rainforest of South America. On average, toco toucans measure around 55-65 centimeters (22-26 inches) in length, with their beaks making up about one-third of their total length. Some exceptionally large toco toucans can reach lengths of up to 75 centimeters (30 inches).
