Can your baby rabbit drink water?

Baby rabbits, also known as kits, can and should drink water. They need to stay hydrated just like adult rabbits.

Here are some important things to remember:

* Provide fresh water daily.

* Use a shallow dish or bowl. Kits can't drink from a water bottle.

* Make sure the water is clean. Change the water frequently.

* Monitor their water intake. If a kit isn't drinking enough, they might be sick.

Note: Baby rabbits primarily get their hydration from their mother's milk. However, they start drinking water around 3 weeks old.

If you have any concerns about your baby rabbit's health, it's best to consult a veterinarian.
