What eats walrus?

Adult walruses don't have many natural predators. Their size and tusks make them formidable opponents.

However, there are a few threats:

* Polar bears: They are the main predator of walruses, especially young ones. They will sometimes prey on adult walruses, but this is more difficult due to their size and strength.

* Orcas (Killer Whales): Orcas can hunt walruses, particularly if the walruses are hauled out on land or ice. They may target calves and weaker individuals.

* Other threats: Some walrus calves may fall prey to foxes or wolves, but these are not significant threats to the population as a whole.

It's important to remember that human activities like hunting and climate change are also major threats to walrus populations.
