Does a lion or elephant eat pythons?

Neither lions nor elephants typically eat pythons.

* Lions are primarily carnivores, focusing on prey like zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes. Pythons are too large and strong for a lion to easily handle, and their muscular bodies are difficult to penetrate with a lion's claws and teeth.

* Elephants are herbivores and their diet consists of plants, fruits, and bark. They have no need to eat meat, including pythons.

It's possible that a lion or elephant might encounter a python and kill it if it was a threat, but they wouldn't actively seek them out as food.
