What do girafffes eat?

Giraffes are herbivores, meaning they only eat plants. Their diet consists mainly of:

* Leaves: They have long necks that allow them to reach high into trees, where they can access the leaves of acacia trees, their favorite food.

* Twigs: Giraffes also eat twigs from various trees and shrubs.

* Fruits: When available, giraffes will also eat fruits.

* Flowers: Giraffes will occasionally eat flowers.

Giraffes have a unique digestive system that allows them to efficiently extract nutrients from the tough, fibrous leaves they consume.

They also need to drink water daily, especially during dry seasons.
