Would a lion eat brown bear?

While rare, a lion may kill and eat a brown bear due to various circumstances, such as territorial conflicts, lack of prey, defense of offspring, and survival instincts. This behavior is observed only in exceptional situations and is not generally common in the wild. However, it's important to note that brown bears are much larger and more robust than lions and are usually dominant in confrontations. Nevertheless, lions are formidable predators known for their strength and group-hunting tactics, and they may occasionally succeed in taking down a bear if the conditions are favorable.
