How do stingrays feed their young?

Stingrays do not feed their young. They give birth to live young, or pups, that are fully developed and able to fend for themselves immediately after birth. The young are equipped with a full set of teeth and instincts that allow them to catch and eat their food. Stingrays are ovoviviparous, which means that they give birth to live young that hatched from eggs inside the mother's body. The mother carries the eggs within her until they are fully developed and ready to be born. Once born, the young are independent and do not receive any parental care. They are capable of swimming and hunting on their own and grow rapidly reaching maturity in a few years.
