How many bloodworms should you feed a Siamese fighter?
Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) should not be fed bloodworms. Bloodworms are a type of larval midge that is high in protein and fat, and can cause health problems for Bettas if fed too frequently. It is recommended that Bettas be fed a diet of high-quality pellets or flakes that are specifically formulated for their nutritional needs. Live foods, such as bloodworms, should only be given as occasional treats and should make up no more than 10% of the total diet.
