Things You'll Need
- 2 pieces cotton fabric, 11 by 17 inches
- Hot glue gun
- Roll of cellophane wrap
- Towel
- Pillowcase
Instructions
Lay one piece of cotton fabric on a flat surface or the floor.
Cut four squares from the cellophane wrap.
Layer the cellophane squares so that edges overlap one another. This will create more of a crinkle sound. Avoid placing the cellophane near the edge of the material, instead place it approximately 3/4" away from where the hot glue will be used.
Lay the second piece of cotton fabric on top of the cellophane so the cellophane is in the middle, like a sandwich. Place glue on all the edges. Press edges together carefully, with a towel. Now you have the crinkly part of the sack finished.
Turn a pillow case inside out. Glue the crinkly part, completed in above step, to one side of the pillowcase. There is no need to glue small portions at a time. Let glue dry completely.
Turn pillow case right side out. Entice your ferret to play by placing food, treats, or a favored toy, inside the new sack.
