Where is jaguarundi found?

The jaguarundi (Herpailurus yagouaroundi) is a wild cat found in the Americas, from southern Mexico to Argentina and Uruguay. Within this range, it inhabits a diverse array of habitats, including scrublands, grasslands, savannas, forests, and even mangrove swamps. Jaguarundis are highly adaptable and can be found at elevations ranging from sea level to over 3,000 meters. They prefer warmer climates and are not typically found in cold regions.
