Where the giant Panda located?

The giant panda is found in the mountainous regions of central China, particularly in the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu.

Here are the main geographic regions where giant pandas are found:

1. Sichuan Province: Sichuan is home to the largest population of giant pandas, accounting for about 80% of the world's wild panda population. Key panda habitats in Sichuan include the Wolong National Nature Reserve, the Bifengxia Panda Base, and the Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries.

2. Shaanxi Province: Shaanxi is located in the Qinling Mountains and is known for its subpopulation of giant pandas known as the Qinling pandas. The Foping National Nature Reserve and the Zhouzhi National Nature Reserve are significant panda habitats in Shaanxi.

3. Gansu Province: Gansu has a smaller population of giant pandas compared to Sichuan and Shaanxi. Notable panda habitats in Gansu include the Baihe Nature Reserve and the Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve.

These mountainous regions provide giant pandas with their preferred habitats, including dense bamboo forests, cool and humid climate, and rugged terrain that offers shelter and escape routes.
