Do hedgehogs live in a burrow?
Hedgehogs can live in a variety of habitats including meadows, forests, hedgerows, and gardens. They typically make their homes in burrows that they dig themselves, but they may also use other shelters such as rock crevices, fallen logs, or even compost heaps. Hedgehogs are nocturnal animals and they spend most of the day sleeping in their burrows. They come out at night to feed on insects, worms, and other small invertebrates.
